The printed circuit board acts as the brain of the appliance, pre-programmed with routines to safely run the appliance it was programmed for. Every action within a boiler is controlled, monitored and initiated by the PCB. A network of wires and sensors throughout the appliance, transmit information and make it possible for the pcb to utilise this in real time and react. Safety is key, so the pcb can stop operation of the boiler at any given time if there is cause for concern.
