The pcb is essentially the brain of the boiler, pre-programmed with routines to safely run the appliance it was programmed for. Every action that takes place within the boiler is monitored carefully by the PCB. Various sensors throughout the appliance, transmit information and make it possible for the pcb to analyse and react. The highest priority is safety, so the boiler can be shut down by the pcb at any given time if any activity is detected that indicates an error or safety concern.
