The pcb handles all functionality, using pre-determined routines to operate the boiler it was built for. Every action that takes place within the boiler is controlled, monitored and initiated by the PCB. Sensors connected by wires pass information and allow the pcb to utilise this in real time and react. Safety is key, so the PCB can shut down the appliance immediately if it detects an error or safety concern.
