The Alpha Eco expansion vessel is a unit to cope with the expansion of water in a home heating system or hot water system due to rises in temperature. When water rises in temperature this expands, particularly when it is kept under pressure such as in a sealed heating system or an unvented hot water cylinder. Expansion tanks typically consist of a storage container or disc which is divided inside into two compartments separated with a rubber sheet, known as the diaphragm. Inside the expansion vessels there is water on one side of the diaphragm and air or an inert gas such as nitrogen under pressure on the other side. An air valve just like those found on bicycle and car tyres is normally provided for the air side o permit the unit to be re-pressurised., Alpha Expansion Vessel Can Be Delivered Next Day
